Triple Bottom Line recognizes that without happy, healthy people to staff a business and the natural environment able to sustain those people and supply resources for trade; business is unsustainable in the long run.
People
Treating your employees right, but also gives back into the surrounding community through sponsorships, donation or projects.
Planet
A business will strive to minimize its ecological impact by sourcing raw materials to enhancing production processes. Quite often businesses offer a recycling or takeback program or refrains from producing toxic items.
Profit
This is more about making an honest profit than raking as much profit as possible. It must be made in harmony with the two principles of People and Planet.
